A good bankroll management (the total amount of money we spend on gambling at a given time) is what will determine whether the results are positive; though always bear in mind this will never mean in the short term: good results will only be seen in the medium and long terms. Also remember that you under no circumstance should exceed your bankroll. If your profits are good enough you should put the initial amount back in your pocket and only continue betting with your earring to avoid any real loses.

There will be several factors which will influence your bets. One of them is the method, system or strategy that you apply. Another factor is the choice of event in which you will bet. The sporting activities will be important to consider for your choice, as well as the analysis of the event of your interest.

An effective way to control your bankroll is to bet on different types of events and using different strategies, like for example, to bet NFL games (football league) during the week and choose to bet on European football leagues on weekends. The best strategy would be to divide your bankroll in two, devoting one part to each bet. It will thus be easier to determine whether your bets are working well or not. Make an ongoing assessment of the results you get; this is important to determine if the strategies you implemented to manage your bankrolls are effective. By applying this strategy you should also be aware that you will need to invest more time in researching and understanding the movements of more than one particular league while choosing the matches in which you want to bet.

It will be much easier to analyze each sport separately. If you have systematic losses determine where the error is and correct it without having to change your whole betting strategy. If you dedicate a separate bankroll for each sport or bet type, and then analyze the results independently, you will have an overview of the effectiveness of your betting system, your strategies and your ability to forecast.
